SoundCloud has launched a new, all-in-one artist subscription plan that combines distribution, fan support and merchandise tools under one umbrella.
Officially launched on Thursday, 30th October, the new All-In-One plan was promises artists 100% of royalties earned from tracks shared to the platform, as well as those uploaded to other streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok and YouTube Music, via Soundcloud distribution.
Additionally, SoundCloud has also introduced a Support button where fans can donate directly to artists without SoundCloud taking a cut.
The streamlined plan also includes on-demand vinyl pressing and built-in merchandise sales so that artists can use the platform to monetise physical releases and merchandise all in one place. This will automatically apply to the existing $3.25-a-month Artist plan and $8.25-a-month Artist Pro plan.
“SoundCloud has always been about putting artists first,” CEO Eliah Seton said. “With this launch, we’re taking that mission further by giving artists a truly all-in-one subscription, including distribution without detours, community without barriers, and monetisation without compromise, including direct support from their fans.”
